Little slices of greenspace make paradise for neighborhoods and BOPARC manages several of these throughout our community. Whether it be a picnic table in a wooded area, a basketball court, playground or just a quiet place to re-focus these neighborhood "pocket" parks have a great deal to offer.
Paul Preserve

Jerome Park and Mayfield Park have been combined into a three-acre greenspace in the southeastern portion of Morgantown named Paul Preserve. The park contains a basketball court, picnic area, and playground.
King Street Mini Park

King Street Mini Park is a little more than one acre neighborhood open field space in the South Park area and a delight for spontaneous neighborhood recreational activities. This park contains a picnic area, large open green space and a playground.
South University Avenue Park - Mountaineer Heritage Park

A great place for some green space retreat time when you need to re-focus or just catch a breath of fresh air.
Suncrest "Lake" Mini Park

A half acre neighborhood park situated on a former lake bed, this park contains a picnic area and playground.
Whitemoore Park

Whitemoore Park is the oldest park in Morgantown. Located below Richwood Avenue, this 8.6 acre park connects to the Caperton/Decker's Creek Trail. Whitemoore Park has a basketball court, picnic area and swings.
