BOPARC Announces WVU Healthcare Send a Kid to Camp Scholarship Program

Picture
The Board of Park and Recreation Commissioners is committed to making its services available to as many citizens as possible.  Thanks to a generous contribution by WVU Healthcare, the Send a Kid to Camp Program will allow more children to attend day camp at BOPARC during Summer 2013.  The WVU Healthcare Send a Kid to Camp Program allows qualifying families to attend camp for a small co-pay of 20, 30 or 50 percent of the program fee.  Copay level is determined by total household income.  The new program applies to all day camps offered by BOPARC.  Applications are available by clicking on the link below.  For more information, please call 304-296-8356.

IN THE EVENT OF RAIN ~

Picture
BOPARC's main mode of communication with regard to cancellations and changes in facility schedules, camps and events due to inclement weather is through rainedout.com (see signup information to the left).  While we will make every attempt to also update our website when camp is in session, we highly recommend that customers sign up for the text alert or email option.

Due to the nature of our events, facilities and camp schedule/locations, we do not always have access to a computer to update our website.  We can, however, send text alerts through the
rainedout.com system so be sure to sign up and stay informed this summer!
