REGULAR PART TIME
WILES HILL RECREATION DESK-CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANTS
BOPARC has immediate openings on our growing customer support team for part-time customer service assistants with varying availability Monday-Friday, 8am-7pm. BOPARC customer service assistants provide customer support via the Recreation Desk, located at the Wiles Hill Community Center. Ideal candidates enjoy community recreation and working with the public. Customer Service assistants provide exemplary customer service in-person and over the phone. Flexible scheduling for the busy student or part-time professional. Rate of Pay-$12-$15 per hour, up to 20 hours per week.
EUREKA CAFE- FRONT OF THE HOUSE
Join Eureka Café as a versatile Barista ready to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment that offers flexibility tailored to meet your schedule. The right candidate will enjoy a flexible work week, balancing anywhere from 5 to 20 hours.
As a Eureka Barista, you'll be more than just a coffee maker – you'll be a vital part of our team- jumping in where needed to ensure smooth operations and exemplary customer service. Your primary duties will be crafting coffee beverages and showcasing your expertise in coffee varieties and food grains. Additionally, you'll delight customers with your knowledge of our pastry selection, including gluten-free and vegan options. But that's not all – you'll also showcase your culinary skills by preparing delicious meals to complement our café offerings. At Eureka, the entire team is responsible for keeping the front of the house clean, organized, and well stocked! Full training is provided, so if you have the want, we will show you the Eureka way. SEASONAL POSITIONS
MAINTENANCE AND GROUNDS
Hours and start/end date dependent upon availability. Positions to begin as early as March 1st and MAY continue through end of September. College aged students encouraged to apply with a minimum age of 16 required. Weekday, evening, and weekends hours may be required. Regular attendance is mandatory. Work is performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions. Essential position responsibilities include but not limited to: operation of mowing equipment, weed eaters, and light trucks to maintain the various park locations; custodial duties to include picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, sweeping, and mopping; event assistance including event setup and take down. Applications accepted until positions are filled. Rate of pay $10.50-$15 per hour, dependent upon experience and certifications.
ATHLETIC FIELD COORDINATORS AND CREW MEMBERS
Hours per week dependent upon availability. BOPARC field coordinators and crew work across the city park system preparing/grooming BOPARC athletic fields for league play, tournaments, and other private rentals. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age. Weekend, evening and daytime hours available. Flexible scheduling. Rate of pay dependent upon experience and certifications- Crew-$10.50-$11.50, Coordinators- $14-$15. Applications accepted until positions are filled.
OFFICE ASSISTANT - ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE, MARILLA PARK
Hours per week approximately 15-20 and a Monday-Friday schedule. This is a seasonal position assisting with customer service and clerical duties. These include answering customer questions both in-person and over the phone, filing, preparation of items such as pool passes, mailings, and assisting with overflow of daily tasks. $12 per hour through mid-August.
LIFEGUARDS
Hours per week dependent upon availability. Must be 15 years of age to apply. BOPARC is hiring lifeguards for both Marilla and Krepps Pools for the 2024 pool season. Applicants must be lifeguard certified prior to opening day. BOPARC provides opportunities for certification. Information on available certification classes is available under the PROGRAM tab above. BOPARC pool season is May 24th-August 11th. Applications accepted through May 14th or until all positions are filled. Rate of Pay $10-$15 per hour, dependent upon certifications and experience.
POOL CONCESSIONS AND FRONT DESK
Hours per week dependent upon availability. Must be 14 years of age to apply. BOPARC is hiring concession workers and cashiers for both Marilla and Krepps Pools. Applicants must be able to work a minimum of 2-3 days per week. Available hours are Monday-Sunday, 11:30am-6pm. BOPARC pool season is May 24th-August 11th. Applications accepted through May 14th, or until all positions are filled. Rate of Pay: $9-10 per hour.
SOFTBALL UMPIRES
BOPARC is currently recruiting softball umpires for our Adult Softball Leagues. Adult Softball Umpires will officiate and maintain control of league play by utilizing rules knowledge, proper mechanics, and consistent judgment. Umpires will also work with other personnel to maintain a safe environment for participants and will perform other miscellaneous duties. Applicants must attend a certification clinic (dates to be announced). Applications accepted until all positions filled. Rate of Pay- Up to $45per game depending on experience.
