Summer Sports Camps for Campers of All Skill Levels!
The BOPARC Summer Sports Camp series takes place predominantly at The BOPARC Sports Complex at White Park, unless otherwise noted below. Under the direction of Ernie Galusky and Matt Taylor, BOPARC Division Director of Recreation and Manager of Athletic Leagues and Sports Programming, this series is better than ever!
Sports camps are open to co-ed, youth entering grades 1st-8th in Fall 2026. Camps focus on fundamental skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship. Camps are instructed in a fun and supportive environment. All camps include supervised, afternoon swim sessions at Marilla Pool. Transportation from morning locations to Marilla Park is provided via Monongalia County School buses. Campers are divided into smaller groups each day based on age and skill level.
All campers should bring a lunch, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, 1 morning snack, and backpack to camp EVERYDAY! Individual equipment for camps, excluding baseball (CAMPERS SHOULD BRING A GLOVE TO BASEBALL/SOFTBALL CAMP), is not required or necessary but can brought/used at camp. Please note BOPARC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
BOPARC recreation staff will provide oversight of campers during morning instruction and during afternoon swim. Sport specific curriculum and instruction is developed and provided by local professionals.
Drop-Off Location: BOPARC Sports Complex at White Park, Unless Otherwise Noted Below.

Fee: $145 per week, per camper
Days/Times: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm

JUNE 8-12: BASKETBALL #1 INSTRUCTOR: JIMMY NEAL
Drop Off: South Middle School Gym
Shoot, dribble, and have fun! Campers will focus on the fundamentals, sportsmanship, play games, and build teamwork in an energetic environment. Great camp for players of all skill levels.
JUNE 15-19: BASEBALL/SOFTBALL INSTRUCTOR: JEREMY CUMMINGS
Always a summer "hit"! Campers will focus on and improve their fundamental skills in age/skill appropriate groups. For boys and girls of all skill levels, fun drills and games will help campers develop their hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running.
JUNE 22-26: SPORTS PERFORMANCE INSTRUCTOR: PRO PERFORMANCE ELITE STAFF
The perfect camp for kiddos who want to stay active, develop athleticism, and enhance sport specific skills. Through fun, challenging drills, games, & activities campers will boost speed, agility, and endurance; improve strength, coordination, and balance; and most importantly build confidence, teamwork, and a strong work ethic!
JULY 6- 10: SOCCER INSTRUCTOR: MICHAEL GRIFFITH
Kick, pass, and score! Our recreational soccer camp is perfect for campers (boys & girls) of all skill levels! Camp will focus on the fundamentals- dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork through fun games and activities. Campers versus coaches is always a fun way to end the week!
JULY 13-17: BASKETBALL #2 INSTRUCTOR: JIMMY NEAL
Drop Off: Mylan Park, Ruby Center
Because it's so popular we do it twice! Different location, same great experience! Campers may participate in both basketball camp#1 and #2.
JULY 20-24: FOOTBALL INSTRUCTOR: PRO PERFORMANCE ELITE STAFF
NON-CONTACT CAMP! Our recreational non-contract camp is perfect for campers who want to learn/enhance their football fundamentals in a safe, positive, non-tackle environment. Campers focus on skills like throwing, catching, route running, agility, and teamwork through age-appropriate drills, games, and scrimmages (flag-football style). No experience necessary- just energy, enthusiasm, and a love for the game!
JULY 27-31: MULTI SPORT INSTRUCTOR: VARIOUS
All your summer favorites combined into one camp! A different sport each day. Review the basics and play fun sport-specific games each day. Campers do not need to bring any sports equipment to camp except for baseball day. Campers who have a baseball glove and bat should bring these items on the designated day. Daily schedule TBD.
AUGUST 3-7: MARTIAL ARTS INSTRUCTOR: RENZO GRACIE STAFF
Drop Off: Renzo Gracie (300 Frederick Lane, Morgantown)
The Staff of Renzo Gracie will introduce campers to the Martial Arts including Jiu Jitsu. Campers will learn about and experience the sport of martial arts in a fun, non-competitive environment.
DIRECTIONS: 300 Frederick Lane, Morgantown, WV 26508
From 119/Point Marion Rd, turn left onto Baker’s Ridge Rd
Continue approximately .5miles and turn left onto Frederick Lane, then right to stay on Frederick Lane
Make the first left to continue to Renzo Gracie.
