BOPARC distributes information via multiple outlets, reports and resources. We utilize this site as a resource for questions, overviews of programs, leagues, admission-based facilities, events, etc. Our phone number is 304-296-8356 and there are menu options that will connect you to various facilities from there (for instance, Ice Arena or Wiles Hill Community Center). Questions related to the rental of facilities can generally be directed to [email protected], as can other general questions on pricing, availability of services, etc. We have alert options through One Call that can be accessed by signing up for those services (free to the public). A link for this service can be found on our Home Page. You can find hours of operation for various facilities there as well as on individual facility pages.
BOPARC has a monthly meeting. During these meetings, the Board will receive information, deliberate and approve action items related to their oversight, review budgetary reports and take time to comment on specific items of interest to BOPARC. These meetings are open to the public and there is a public comment portion. Visit our Monthly Meeting page for more details on this useful outlet for information and to review the public comments guidelines for these meetings.
BOPARC also publishes Meeting Minutes for all regular and special BOPARC meetings. Those can be accessed via the hyperlink noted in the previous sentence and there is a mechanism for receiving archived minutes noted on that page.

We have a PAGE dedicated to these requests available at the hyperlink above.
Please note that there is information that BOPARC is not permitted to distribute. Such information is normally discussed in Executive Session if it is under the purview of the appointed Commissioners.

Our administrative policy on social media is as follows: We will not engage in or tolerate unsubstantiated discourse, profane or vulgar language, partisan political statements, personal attacks and comments related to the conduct or performance of Commissioners or agency staff, or any of the other destructive and non-solution-oriented behaviors that are so unfortunately prevalent within social media today.
