2026 Schedule

David Canny: Solo Exhibit
On view February–March 31
Gallery Opening: March 6th 6PM-8PM

David Canny grew up in Barbour County, West Virginia, where his early interest in drawing led him to pursue as many art classes as possible throughout high school. He graduated from the Art Academy of Cincinnati in 2012 with a degree in Illustration and spent the following decade working in illustration and screen printing.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Canny shifted his focus to painting. The works featured in this exhibition represent his growth as a painter from 2020 to the present. His subjects are drawn from everyday life—objects found around the home and items he collects, such as coffee pots and tools—rendered with close attention and personal significance.

Kelsea O’Malley:
On view May-July
Kelsea O’Malley is a mixed media artist graduating with a BFA in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University. Inspired by the props and practical effects of 1980s horror films, her work spans gallery-based pieces in woodworking and ceramics to the fabrication of life-sized puppets designed for cinematic storytelling.
Originally from West Virginia, O’Malley left her home state to pursue a career in practical effects and continues to build toward her ambitions in film. She actively collaborates with directors on short films, helping bring narrative concepts to life through tactile, handcrafted design.
In recent years, her practice has shifted toward the preservation of art within an ever-evolving cultural landscape. By merging functional craft with installation sculpture, O’Malley creates work that operates both as a tool and as an immersive artifact—preserving the surrealism of fictional world-building while emphasizing durability and purpose.

Reginald K. Hawver: “Eclectic Works of Art and Style”
On view August–October

Reginald K. Hawver is a native West Virginian progressive artist, maker, and stylist working across a wide range of mediums including sheet metal, recycled materials, newspaper, stretched canvas, papier-mâché, and more. His diverse material choices result in distinctive, multidimensional works that reflect both craftsmanship and experimentation.
With a long career spanning music, theatre, and hand-crafted arts, Hawver’s creative practice is rooted in versatility and continual evolution. His work ranges from basketry to primitive forms, from furniture pieces to concrete creations. Throughout his career, he has consistently shifted perspective and focus, allowing space for growth both as an artist and as an individual.
Hawver resides in Weston, West Virginia with his wife and muse, Teresa, and their two cats. His work can be viewed at www.reginaldhawverstudio.com or on Facebook at Reginald Hawver Studio. Contact information is available through either platform.
