BOPARC has several capital improvement projects in various phases of planning, design, development and construction. The facilities, equipment and spaces impacted by these improvements are in the age range of 20 to 60+ years.

PROJECT NAME: LOWER MARILLA PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: EARLY 2027
PROJECT INFORMATION: The Lower Marilla Park Improvement Project kicked off January 19th, 2026. All amenities located in the lower Marilla Park area will be replaced or updated. The project includes a redesign of the area to allow for a better user experience. These updates will enhance the functionality, accessibility, and overall condition of Lower Marilla Park. PLEASE NOTE: LOWER MARILLA PARK IS CLOSED TO PARK USE IN THE CONSTRUCTION AREAS. THE MARILLA PARK TRAILS REMAIN OPEN. CONSTRUCTION AREAS ARE NOTATED BY ORANGE CONSTRUCTION FENCE AND SIGNAGE.

PROJECT NAME: COBUN CREEK BRIDGE AND SOUTH SIDE TRAILS

- Relocation and Installation of 6 New Tennis Courts with Improved Seating Areas
- Relocation and Installation of a New Basketball Court
- New Action Sports Park (old Marilla Pool area). Includes a pump track, skate park, bicycle playground, shade areas & more
- Installation of 6 New Pickleball Courts
- Marilla Recreation Center Renovation
- Installation of a New Multi-Purpose Turf Field
- Replacement of Marilla Park Pavilion including improved access, parking, and restrooms
- Updates to Parking Areas, Trailheads, Lighting, & Sidewalks
- Installation of other Site Amenities Including: Seating, Shade, and Restroom Facilities
WHITE PARK

- August-November 2026-Removal of old playground & Installation of new
