PROJECT NAME: LOWER MARILLA PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: EARLY 2027
PROJECT INFORMATION: The Lower Marilla Park Improvement Project kicked off January 19th, 2026. All amenities located in the lower Marilla Park area will be replaced or updated. The project includes a redesign of the area to allow for a better user experience. These updates will enhance the functionality, accessibility, and overall condition of Lower Marilla Park. PLEASE NOTE: LOWER MARILLA PARK IS CLOSED TO PARK USE IN THE CONSTRUCTION AREAS. THE MARILLA PARK TRAILS REMAIN OPEN. CONSTRUCTION AREAS ARE NOTATED BY ORANGE CONSTRUCTION FENCE AND SIGNAGE.

PROJECT NAME: WILES HILL PLAYGROUND #1- DRAINAGE UPDATES & FALLZONE REPLACEMENT- COMPLETE

- Relocation and Installation of a New Basketball Court
- New Action Sports Park (old Marilla Pool area). Includes a pump track, skate park, bicycle playground, shade areas & more
- Installation of 6 New Pickleball Courts
- Marilla Recreation Center Renovation
- Installation of a New Multi-Purpose Turf Field
- Replacement of Marilla Park Pavilion including improved access, parking, and restrooms
- Updates to Parking Areas, Trailheads, Lighting, & Sidewalks
- Installation of other Site Amenities Including: Seating, Shade, and Restroom Facilities
WHITE PARK
PROJECT NAME: WHITE PARK PLAYGROUND
ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: MAIN PROJECT IS COMPLETE- SITE AMMENITIES TO BE COMPLETED IN JULY/AUGUST
- Area is OPEN
- Demolition of existing pavilion and play structures
- Demolition of old restroom structure
- Installation of 5-12 play structure
- Installation of 3 bay swing set with accessible seats, tot seats, and belt swings
- Installation of turf fall zone
- Improved drainage and access
- Site amenity updates- tables, trash cans, picnic table.
PROJECT NAME: COBUN CREEK BRIDGE AND SOUTH SIDE TRAILS
- Project is underway. Bridge is complete. Trail development 2026/2027.

KREPPS PARK
PROJECT NAME: KREPPS PARK PAVILION
ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: MAIN PROJECT IS COMPLETE! SITE AMMENITIES & PAVING TO BE COMPLETED AUGUST/SEPTEMBER.
- Site/Drainage Work: In-progress. Please use caution in this area when accessing the trails and playground.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Installation of 30x50 pavilion
- Installation of new concrete pad
- Updated site amenities including lighting, tables, grill, and trash cans
- Site work to improve drainage and alleviate run-off
PROJECT NAME: ALL SEASON RESTROOMS & CARETAKER FACILITY
ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: MAIN PROJECT IS COMPLETE! LANDSCAPING, PAVING, POOL FENCING TO BE COMPLETED IN SEPTEMBER.
- Area is under active construction and is closed to use.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Installation of all season restrooms to service the park year-round
- Installation of outdoor seasonal water fountain with bottle filling station
- Reestablishment of Caretaker Facility
WILES HILL PARK
PROJECT NAME: WILES HILL PLAYGROUND #1- DRAINAGE UPDATES & FALLZONE REPLACEMENT- COMPLETE
PROJECT INFORMATION: This is a planned Phase 2 improvement to the 2018 playground replacement.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Replacement of site retaining wall
- Replacement of gazebo seating wall
- Removal of existing fall zone (EWF & PIP)
- Installation of additional drainage
- Installation of turf fall zone in full use area
- Addition of tot swings
- New site amenities including new bench, trash cans, and communication board
JACK ROBERTS PARK
PROJECT NAME: JACK ROBERTS PLAYGROUND REPLACEMENT
ESTIMATED COMPLETEION DATE: NOVEMBER 2026
- February 16th- equipment ordered
- June 19th- 90% of equipment has been delivered to site.
- June 10th- Public Bid Award- Veritas Contracting
- August-November 2026-Removal of old playground & Installation of new

- New nature/tree house themed play space that includes multiple towers, slides, ground elements, swings, climbing elements and more.
- Installation of trolley style playground "zip-line".
- Installation of turf or PIP fall-zone
