Steel Drum Camp
​
Steel drum camp is a half-day collaborative camp between BOPARC and CB Studios. Campers will learn how to play steel drums, how the instruments are made, as well as the history of the instrument. Participants will perform a concert of the music they learn on the last day of camp.  No musical experience is necessary, and class size is limited to 18 participants per session. Campers may sign up for both sessions as material will be different. For an additional fee participants can stay all day and enjoy supervised swimming at Marilla Pool. Participants choosing the afternoon swim option will be transported via BOPARC van at 12:30pm to Marilla Pool. Swim participants must be picked up by 5:30pm daily. Participants should bring a lunch, swimsuit, towel and sunscreen. 

**SWIM OPTION IS NOT A STAND-ALONE CAMP. CAMPERS MUST BE REGISTERED FOR THE CORRESPONDING MORNING CAMP TO REGISTER FOR AN AFTERNOON SWIM OPTION**

Half Day- 11:30am- Wiles Hill Community Center Gym
Full Day- Noon-5:30pm- Marilla Pool (MUST REGISTER FOR AFTERNOON SWIM OPTION, SEPERATELY)
Fee(s):
$170.00 per week (half day)
$225.00 (full day with swim option, must register for afternoon swim option)

Ages: Entering 3rd-8th grades in Fall 2026
