The Metropolitan Theatre

Originally opened in 1924, the Metropolitan Theatre has been billed as “West Virginia’s Most Beautiful Playhouse”.  2005 was the Metropolitan’s first full year of current operations, and the theatre hosted 52 events, drawing nearly 30,000 people.  The Met is a favorite venue for many grade school productions, due to its complimentary acoustics and inviting, comfortable atmosphere.  The Met also acts as a rental house for various performers, hosts movies and a variety of seminars.  For more information on the Metropolitan Theatre, contact the Met at 304-291-4884.
